Human-Computer Interaction

Human-Computer Interaction research at Princeton focuses on social computing, human-centered machine learning, and creativity tools. Some of the areas we work on include computer-supported collaborative work, public interest technology, social augmented reality, explainable AI, fairness, accountability and transparency, and tools for professional and novice artists. Example applications we are working on include designing and studying community-centered gig work platforms, human interpretability of visual explanations, and deep learning for audio synthesis.
