Short Bio
Abhishek Bhattacharjee is a Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University. His research spans computer architecture, operating systems, compilers, and chip design—with a focus on datacenter servers and emerging neurotechnologies. He received the ACM SIGARCH Maurice Wilkes Award in 2023 for “contributions to memory address translation in widely used commercial microprocessors and operating systems.” His honors also include a Best Paper Award at ISCA 2023, a Distinguished Paper Award at ASPLOS 2023, and a Best Paper Award at ASPLOS 2026. Six of his papers have been selected for IEEE Micro’s Top Picks in Computer Architecture, with two additional honorable mentions. Two of his papers were also chosen for ISCA’s 50th Anniversary Retrospective in recognition of their lasting impact on the field. Prior to joining Princeton, Bhattacharjee was a professor at Yale University. While at Yale, he received the Dylan Hixon ’88 Prize and Ackerman Award, the university’s highest honors for undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring in the sciences. Bhattacharjee delivered an invited keynote address at ASPLOS 2023 and was Program Chair for ASPLOS 2027.
