Short Bio
Ewin Tang works on quantum computing and theoretical computer science, with a focus on designing algorithms for learning and preparing quantum systems.
She joined the Princeton faculty in September 2026, affiliated with the Princeton Quantum Initiative. Prior to this, she was a Miller postdoctoral fellow at UC Berkeley. She completed her PhD at the University of Washington, advised by James Lee, and an undergraduate degree at UT Austin, advised by Scott Aaronson.
