Since August 2011, I have been employed as a Software Engineer at Google NYC, working on Search Quality and Features.
My advisor at Princeton was Rob Schapire and, as a graduate student, I worked on reading your mind (from fMRI data).
During the summers of 2007 and 2008 and spring of 2010, I interned with the Biometaphorical Computation group at The IBM T.J. Watson Research Center - Yorktown, working on regularized regression and other approaches for scientific discovery from fMRI data. From 2010-2011, I was a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Machine Learning group at IBM.
Prior to coming to Princeton, I worked as a Research Data Manager/Analyst for the Weill-Cornell Institute of Geriatric Psychiatry at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Here's a photo of a routine personal interaction from my work days.
I have an MS in Computer Science from Pace University and a BA in Psychology from SUNY Binghamton.
During my copious free time, I enjoy digital photography, especially nature and wildlife photography. Some of my photos are in my Pbase photo gallery and Old Sam Peabody's Pbase Gallery.
