I used transparencies from a set of transparences provided by the authors of our textbook. The full set of transparencies for material in Chapter 5 of the text is available in PDF format. I skipped many of the examples, which can be found in the text, and transparences 26-31 on embedded SQL and related topics. You should read all of Chapter 5 to understand the full flexibility of SQL. I also showed the create, insert and delete commands covered in Chapter 3. I added two slides on joins in SQL to supplement the transparencies provided by the authors of our text.
