Course Structure and Requirements

This semester's seminar will focus on several topics that can be categorized into three subjects: system area networking, architectural support for graphics, and parallel rendering algorithms and architectures:

Participants of this course are expected to read papers, participate in discussions, and present papers in class. We plan to form a working group on each subject. Each student is expected to participate in two or more working groups and each working group is expected to have two or three students. Students of each working group are expected to work together to prepare and give a presentation in class.

The prerequisite is either 426 (Computer Graphics) or 471 (Computer Architecture and Organization).

This course has no writing nor programming requirements and it does not satisfy any part of the Graduate Course Requirements.
