Graduate Visit Day 2006

The Visit Days for admitted prospective graduate students are Sunday March 26 and Monday March 27. We are asking that you try and arrive in Princeton by Noon on Sunday, and leave on Monday 7PM or later. If you need to travel at other times, please contact Melissa Lawson (mml@cs.princeton.edu) before booking your tickets.

Once you have made your travel arrangements, please email your itinerary to Melissa so that hotel rooms can be booked for you. You will be staying at the Nassau Inn, Princeton.

If you are coming in from Pittsburgh on Sunday, we are recommending that you take Southwest #676, leaving Pittsburgh at 9:20AM, and arriving in Philadelphia at 10:30 AM. Book at www.southwest.com . Once we know how many people are coming in at that time, we will arrange group transportation to Princeton.

If you are flying into Newark, you should take NJ Transit train service from the airport south to Princeton Junction, then take a taxi to the Nassau Inn, Princeton.

Sunday will be an informal, social day to acquaint you with Princeton and the surrounding area. You will be able to visit informally with faculty and graduate students.

Monday will be the official "in department" visit. You will learn about the structure of our program and current research. You will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and graduate students. We expect to mail visit schedules to attendees by March 17.
