Introduction
Polygon mesh:
- set of connected planar surfaces bounded by polygons
- good for boxes, cabinets, building exteriors
- bad for curved surfaces
- errors can be made arbitrarily small at the cost of space and execution time
- enlarged images show geometric aliasing
