For the foreseeable future, the lecture notes will be in postscript format because they use more complex notation than can be handled easily in html.

I've included here repeats of some of the notes for last Thursday, because I ended up going back and adding more features to our extended lambda calculus. I'll do a quick review of the typed lambda calculus in order to spotlight the new features and will then progress to the second-order (polymorphic) lambda calculus.
