Meredith Martin, Associate Professor of English, is seeking three undergraduate research assistants to work as part of a collaborative team on an innovative Digital Humanities project about historical poetics and prosody. Students in any field and with any level of experience are welcome to apply. Potential jobs include - curating collections of digitized works in our database - using bibliographies to identify gaps in our archive's holdings about poetic forms like ballad, sonnet, and lyric - cleaning metadata to increase accuracy and searchability Training will begin in mid to late November. Applicants must be able to commit to work from November through February 1. Hours vary and are flexible, ~5 hours per week at $13.50 per hour.
