Short Bio

I am a lecturer and Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow of Princeton University, working in the Princeton Computer Graphics Group. My research interests are appearance modeling, 3D reconstruction, cultural heritage acquisition, and point-based graphics. Prior to coming to Princeton in Fall 2006, I received my PhD from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, where I developed a novel face scanner and analyzed human skin reflectance to achieve photo-realistic reconstructions of human faces. I received my Diploma degree in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe (TU), Germany, in 2001.
