At Los Alamos National Laboratory, I
worked at PHERMEX, an electron accelerator for taking flash
radiographs of explosively driven objects, where I studied how
Bremsstrahlung spectra affect radiograph quality.

At Rice I studied models of urban structure,
seeking a more accurate metric of urban decentralization.

Other Internships
I've also done summer internships at
Microsoft, where I worked on interactive television; LANL again,
where I developed an accelerator diagnostics program for use at
PHERMEX; and at the Rice Quantum Institute, where I designed an
apparatus to measure atomic oxygen concentration.
