I am a fifth year PhD student at the Department of Computer Science, Princeton University. I work in the Sound Lab, and am advised by Rebecca Fiebrink. I received a B.S. in Cognitive Science where I focused on Design and Interaction at the University of California, San Diego. Previous to receiving my degree I worked as an audio engineer and sound designer.
I am broadly interested in human-computer interaction, musical instrument creation, networked-based creative collaboration, and time synchronization. My thesis investigates musical instruments designed specifically for the Internet.
I am currently away from Princeton campus, in Los Angeles, California. You can email me at: roda [at] princeton [dot] edu
