Since Fall 2006, I have been working (if you have heard anything to the contrary, you have been misinformed) as a graduate student of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University. Prof. David August is my Guru. My research agenda consists of making sense of the multicore "revolution". To this end, I developed software middleware that sits in between speculatively parallelized applications and multicore hardware and allows the parallelization to both perform well and be correct. I am currently building a system that dynamically optimizes the throughput and latency of server transactions given finite parallel resources, by modulating the use of parallelism that exists at multiple granularities in emerging server applications. For a more detailed answer to everything research, look here and here. I was at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) from 2002-06 as an undergraduate student of Electrical Engineering.
