Malayalam Keyboard for Mac OS X

This is a quick (and dirty?) attempt to implement a Malayalam keyboard, in Mac OS X 10.3.

How to install Keyboard Layouts in Mac OS X 10.3 (10.2 too?)
Malayalam Keyboard specifications used: The Inscript keyboard [pdf] with modifications proposed by an experts committee [pdf]. (Source: Kerala IT Mission.)
The Keyboard layout file I have created: Malayalam.keylayout (Warning: Untested alpha version. Certain to contain errors and omissions. Update: produces chillus with codepoints 0D7A-0D7F, as per a recent porposal. )
An icon (not very cute) to go with it, mimicing the Devanagari icon: Malayalam.icns
Some "keyboard views" are shown below. And finally, here is a full-screenshot: note the Malayalam text that was entered into the search box; also note the little icon on the top menubar. The keyboard viewer is used only for reference (the actual typing is done directly on the keyboard).
