I am a member of the Machine Learning group at Yahoo! Research in New York. My main interests are in combining theoretical and applied aspects of machine learning, statistics, convex optimization and algorithms. Before joining Yahoo! in December 2010, I was a visiting scholar with the LEAR and Bipop teams at INRIA Rhône-Alpes (Fall 2010), and a postdoctoral researcher with the SELECT lab at the Machine Learning Department of CMU (Fall 2007-Summer 2010). I received my PhD in Computer Science from Princeton University in 2007.
