In this project, I investigated an edge detection algorithm for nonphotorealistic images. The project involved improving matlab Edge function as well as investigating effective strategies to preprocess target images using median/laplacian filter.

Construction of a 3D Human Character From a Set of 2D Ellipses

In this project, I defined human body as a set of 2D ellipses, developed a simple interface with which users can edit ellipses, and investigated a way to construct a 3D mesh from those ellipses.
