MealSaver was designed with the goal of streamlining the meal exchange system on Prospect Avenue. The current system is incredibly archaic, relying on paper cards and manual sorting to find matched exchanges, and it provides club members with no information on their exchange balance until they receive the bill. A digital system is badly needed to manage this material, automate the balance calculations, and most importantly, provide students with up-to-date information on their current balance.

With MealSaver, club members will no longer have to worry about surprising charges at the end of the month resulting from one or more forgotten meal exchanges. Let's face it, with their Princeton course load they've got enough information in their heads already. Let us keep track of this one.

We'll store any exchanges club officers give us and automatically remind clubs and members when there are unbalanced exchanges sitting on their account. Participants can check their balance at any time, and get an itemized, customizable representation of their exchange history. It was designed to be as easy to use as possible for the club officers, such that adding a card to the database can be done in only a few key strokes. And for anyone too busy to check the actual site, we'll deliver their balance straight to their inbox on a weekly or monthly basis, based on their preferences.
