2012
Now into year 5 of my CS Ph.D odyssey here at Princeton, my research interests are now deeply entwined in datacenter resource allocation problems with interludes involving data center networking and network architectures. Embedding intelligence and optimizing in-network decisions are on the forefront of my mind as well.
After 9 years in industry with jaunts ranging from monolithic telco, to internet startup, to OSS/Network simulation vendor, I’ve jumped back into the academic fray. My early undergraduate years at MIT are distant and removed, but still fondly recalled. The full extent of my forays remain a work in progress.
Family-wise, things are busy at home with a now-working wife and 2 super-cute daughters, but kids really are amazing and nothing beats having a supportive, loving spouse to come home to and live life together with.
