Various things were happening among them a trip to New York to meet Karen Arenson for dinner at a Korean restaurant where I collected this sign for my collection

And then Leora Batnitzky came in for her first chair's meeting

This was all a good prelude to the fall chairs' party where the food was being sorted out in the kitchen as a table was set and the chocolates were out as were the apples lending inspiration to the crowd in the kitchen who were organizing the food

and setting the bar and tables in the back yard and Jane ate a bit and had a signature drink even as I recorded the flower arrangements and chocolate and Suzanne setting out more food along with some decorations.

The next day, Meredith came to visit and had lunch with Jane Suzanne Ben and me as we served various leftovers from the night before. After a rest, Ben accompanied us outside to take photos of Suzanne and me

as we made our way to the Library Gala where I posed with Terri Gross and Andy Golden posed with Jonathan Peele '91.

The next day, wood was dumped on our driveway as Caitlin and Justin left for Andrew Black's wedding and I enjoyed knowing that the wood was stacked at last.
