I was going to a conference in Bethesda, so OtherJane took advantage of my schedule and arranged a dinner with Bob Kahn and his wife which would have a happy ending. We took the train and then walked the mall around the US Capitol

and the caught a first glimpse of the Washington Monument with the Capitol behind us as we walked towards the Washington Monument

before catching views of the White House (though W didn't come out to invite us in)

and a view of a helicopter (maybe it was W coming back to greet us) flying near the monument before we headed to the hotel where this was my room and this was my view

Next we went to dinner where Bob signed the agreement as you can see from the executed document and then we had pictures taken of OtherJane and me with Bob and his wife, Patrice Lyons
