In the aftermath of Ben's birthday, I cleared the memory and then tested to see if it still worked
Then a week later, Amy Iacopi, Eric's assistant from Google came to visit
and posed for this picture with Sandra
Of course, this was all a prelude to the seder but before we could get to the seder, I had to take a picture of Carol Reimann
before coming home where Judy had arrived
and Ben
showed how the table was prepared
as Suzanne
surveyed the food
and Josephine
kept an eye on the stove
as the musical instruments were assembled
and DrLen practiced the reclining thing
as Jane
got ready to greet Ann and Stan
who arrived bearing gifts
as Ben and Jane
waited for me to return in costume
as the time approached 6 o'clock
so that the hors de ouveres could be served
as Suzanne appeared in costume
and we unwrapped Moses
as the salads were fully prepared
and Ilana Lucas and Dan Candeto '07 arrived
and then posed for this picture with Sarah
as Jeff Nunakawa
and Ed
and OtherJane who was engaged in conversation with Jane
and Willa and Martha
and Bill Slaughter arrived
so that we could assemble at the seder
and begin the service to Benjamin's amusement.
These were the views down the sides of the table

as we got to the plagues and had to see if the frog could swim
before the music began
and the assembled

before the soup came
though Ben
was more engaged in the two types of charoset
before he took some artistic pictures of the matzah
the fan
matzah and water
before catching a view of the kitchen
the wine
the others at the table
and the door through which Elijah might enter
as he recorded the signs that we had passed
and his setting
to which chicken
and brisket were about to be added.
As those assembled ate
there were potatoes
and asparagus
that made my plate look like this
until the kugel
and spinach
came to complete my plate
as we passed more food
to the assembled
and Ben tried on the head dress
as Sarah and Ed
Ilana and Dan
Stan and Ann
DrLen and Judy
shared the view of the others
including Jeff and OtherJane
and Stan
before the desserts were served
and candy
and traditional jellies
though the centered chocolates
made Willa want to wear the head dress
as the dried apricots
got Jeff going
as Sarah listened
and Suzanne, DrLen and Judy
awaited the Afikomen
before Jane listened as Sarah read tales of Miriam
When all was said and done, Judy and DrLen got ready to go
Martha expressed her joy
as did Willa
and DrLen and Judy brought with them costumes for their next seder.
At the other end of the table, the scene was different as seen in these pictures contributed by Stan Honda of Ben
me with the Matzah
and in costume
the swimming frog
Jeff reading Old English
Moses holding forth
Sarah reading
the signs
and Suzanne and I presiding
over the table
Chag Same'ach to all.
