Benjamin did his transportation report on the DWOK
quite a fighting weapon of the second world war. He conceived the design
building the body from paper towel rolls and the wings, etc. from toilet
paper rolls. Here he poses with his creation
Before we knew it, it was my birthday. Josephine cooked dinner and
insisted that it was Mexican night. The kids got me Sponge Bob
Square Pants, my favorite! So, it was quite jolly when the candles were
lit
the decorations were set (with the traffic light installed!)
and Jane,
Suzanne,
John Byers,
Benjamin,
and Meredith
each sang a different song to the birthday boy as he huffed and puffed
and blew out all of the candles
which is no mean feat at this age.
The next day, Benjamin wasn't feeling well and so stayed home from
school. On the way to taking him to Rider to hang out with Suzanne in the
afternoon, we paused at the Lawrenceville post office for the
obligatory phone booth picture
and then I dropped him off with Suzanne for the afternoon
though it took 2 pictures to do the transition.
Next thing we knew it was time to set the tables

in the kitchen and a darkness
that was broken when Jane, Daniel, Kaylen and Lucy went downstairs
to write messages
on the mini-whiteboard. All of this activity blurred Daniel Suo
but he came into focus
as the darkened Justin Huang
had him play a piano piece
with 4 hands which didn't light up Justin
but got Jane, Lucy and Kaylen watching
as was Justin
so that Jane made a face
and Benjamin
moved across the floor. A Nike swatch
was seen in the picture to accompany the action
on the PS2. Everyone watched
as Benjamin played vs. Jane
