I also participated in a Microsoft Hackathon at Princeton University. My team of 2 won first place with an app called Cuuties.

Hobbies:
I enjoy trying new things.

I play sports of all seasons. In the summer I play tennis, while in the winter I ski and snowboard.

For the past two years, I've taken ballroom dancing lessons from the UBC Dance Club, and have finished the Advanced level.

Volunteering:
I am a member of the Peer Mentoring program linked to my high school, the VSB/UBC Transition Program.

I have been a marker for the PIMS Elementary Math Contest in Vancouver since from 2003-2006. I have been involved with the UBC Physics Olympics both as a event organizer (Good Clean Fun and Optical Obstacle) and as a event volunteer (Descrambler) from 2003-2006.

I was on the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC Career Awareness Committee from 2003-2004. The committee was focused on bringing engineering closer to young students and introducing the profession with activities and events.

Travel:
I recently discovered a love for travel. Please see the links below for a few photos of my visits.

Denmark: Passing through on the way to Romania.
Romania: My first visit back in 10 years.
Squamish: A hiking trip with my family.
Prince George: During a Ribowest conference.
San Jose/ San Francisco: Vacation after my final undergraduate year.
