I am currently a fourth-year graduate student at Princeton University, advised by Mike Freedman. I am primarily interested durability and consistency guarantees in distributed systems and databases. I play with replication, consensus, and distributed transaction protocols. CorfuDB is a fun project I occasionally commit to. I also worked on the Replex system in conjunction with the excellent collaborators at VMware Research.
Currently, I am working on building distributed filesystems that are codesigned with OS-level filesystems.
I'm Harvard College, Class of 2013, where I studied computer science and mathematics. My senior thesis examined durability in Masstree, an awesome in-memory database written by my undergraduate advisor, Eddie Kohler.
