"Research."
This is to prove that I can and do work. Who needs proof? I do.
All these are in collaboration with some very sound colleagues.
That my advisor is involved goes without saying...

You like sound so much that you collect it. But then you wonder, what can you do with all this audio? We think you can use your existing sounds to create many exciting new sounds. Coincidentally, we are working on ways to make this easier for you, such as letting you pull out sound components you like, modify them, reuse them with other sounds, and more. Useful for composers, sound designers, game developers, virtual reality dudes, performers, audio/multimedia researchers. And you.

"I see a voice," Shakespeare wrote. (Yes, he did. A Midsummer Night's Dream.) Now you can, too -- see a voice, that is. What's more, you can see it rolling along the waterfalls of time, in moving hues, from many angles. You can even see some of the information your computer gets from it, and have the computer mimic or modify it, using classic digital signal processing algorithms. Useful for screaming kids, educators, home entertainment, sound visualization.

ChucK / Audicle
A new audio programming language originated by Ge Wang, ChucK allows you to synthesize all kinds of sound, in a concurrent, on-the-fly, strongly timed way. It is not necessary to know the meanings of these keywords in order to use the language. There is a lot more (good stuff) to be said about it, but really you ought to see and hear it yourself. Luckily, the websites listed below have a lot of relevant information. Useful for audio/multimedia researchers, developers, composers, performers, educators, students.

Previous work
As an undergraduate, I had the privilege of gaining research experience in several different areas. This played a huge role in making me even consider graduate school.
