Image Viewer Software

Description:

    The ImageViewer allows large jpeg images to be shown on a tiled display wall. Each tile parses and displays a portion of the image corresponding to there location in the display. For more information see the authors web page.

Using Imview:

    Each of the display nodes runs imview.exe and reads in a config file to determine which tile they will display. The control machine sends commands through imgctrl.exe to request images to be shown. The syntax for showing an image is "imgctrl draw wall-1 image.jpg 0 0 0 0 0 0" where wall-1 is the first computer listed in the config file and image.jpg is accessible to every computer in the display cluster (i.e. the display nodes all  mount a common drive).
