You have a choice of several PlanetLab Visualizer packages to download. See the PlanetLab Visualizer tools section of the manual for a description of each.
The packages are available as tar.gz files for UNIX and Linux users and as zip files for Windows users. Each package includes one or more JAR (Java archive) files that can be executed either by double-clicking them or with the command java -jar jarfile. You must have Java 2 Standard Edition (J2SE) version 1.4.1 or newer installed to run PlanetLab Visualizer tools. You can download Java for free from http://java.sun.com/j2se/downloads.html. The PHP scripts included with PlanetlabDisplayWall and PlanetlabWeb require PHP version 4 or newer. You can download PHP for free from http://www.php.net/downloads.php.
Each package also contains the source code for all of the visualizer tools, any required input files and scripts, documentation (including the manual and PlanetLab Visualizer Java API), and a views directory with sample views, if applicable.
