Congratulations to CS newlyweds, Zhiyan Liu and Ruoming Pang for winning cash in global coding tournament. They were awarded cash for their successes in the semi-annual TopCoder Invitational held Nov. 22, and 23, 2002. TopCoder organizes and hosts two large online programming competition for a chance to win up to $50,000. Zhiyan works with Professor Kai Li and Ruoming works with Professor Larry Peterson.

The annual CS Visit Day ScheduleVisit day will be Monday March 10th.
Following is a general schedule:8:30 - Breakfast (Tea Room)
9:00 - Welcome and general information on the program requirements
10:00 - Meetings with faculty in your specific area(s) of interest
12:00 - Lunch (Tea Room)
1:30 - Meetings with faculty and grad students in your interest area(s)
3:30 - Departmental Tea (Tea Room)For visitors remaining Monday evening, you will be hosted for dinner by graduate students. For visitors flying out on Monday evening, we recommend that you book flights at 7PM or later.
Weekend activities are being arranged by the various research groups. Your host group will notify you about them.

Odyssey Seminar Series: Ben SheddThis campus-wide series will highlight the contributions of the Professional Research, Technical and Library Staff to Princeton. The series begins on Thursday, February 6, 2003, at 4:30 pm in the Betts Auditorium (School of Architecture) with Ben Shedd. His talk is entitled "The Flight of the Gossamer Condor 25th Anniversary".
