Welcome Michael Freedman!

Michael Freedman joins the Computer Science Department as Assistant Professor on September 1st. Professor Freedman received his Ph.D from NYU. His research interests span the areas of distributed systems, security, networking, and cryptography. He conceived and leads Coral, a free peer-to-peer content distribution network, which is widely used on websites such as digg.
