USENIX Test of Time Award

A 2004 paper co-authored by several members of the Princeton Department of Computer Science won a USENIX Test of Time Award.  The award was announced April 2, 2014, at the Eleventh Symposium on Networked Systems Design and Implementation (NSDI'14).

From the Usenix website:

The USENIX Test of Time Awards recognize papers that have had a lasting impact on their fields. To qualify, a paper must have been presented at its respective conference at least 10 years ago. Steering committees from USENIX conferences determine the award winners.

The paper citation is:

"Operating System Support for Planetary-Scale Network Services" Andy Bavier, Mic Bowman, Brent Chun, David Culler, Scott Karlin, Steve Muir, Larry Peterson, Timothy Roscoe, Tammo Spalink, and Mike Wawrzoniak.  Published in the Proceedings of the First Symposium on Networked Systems Design and Implementation, March 2004
