Rajesh Ranganath for winning the Jacobus Fellowship! The Jacobus Fellowship is the highest honor bestowed upon doctoral students at Princeton. Rajesh earned the award for his work in the field of statistical machine learning. Some highlights of his research include the development of correlated random measures, black box variational inference, deep exponential families, latent survival analysis, and other methods for extracting and exploiting patterns in massive high-dimensional data sets.
