David Blei joined the Computer Science Department as Assistant Professor on January 1st.

Professor Blei received his Ph.D from UC-Berkeley and has research interests in probabilistic graphical models and approximate posterior inference, information retrieval and text processing, and nonparametric Bayesian statistics.
