Position Summary
Infrastructure Analyst Manager for the Computer Science Department to provide technical & administrative user support in network, servers (Apache, UltraSeek, database servers, FTP Server, & CVS) and user support: printers, email services, software installation and programming support, using Perl & C. Installation, upgrade & maintenance of operating systems & application software. Test & migrate new versions of various software packages & evaluation of new products & systems.
Essential Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Two years experience with heterogeneous systems in an academic environment; enterprise level administration & support of Solaris & Linux machines and Network Appliance filers; development of web-based application software using PHP, Javascript, Perl, SQL and HTML; & building, installing, & maintaining software packages.
