Point-Based Graphics 2005 - Supporting UsWhy SupportThe Symposium on Point-Based Graphics (PBG) is the first event in the computer graphics research community that is entirely devoted to the emerging field of point-based methods. The inaugural PBG symposium, held June 2-4, 2004 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland, was very successful, with 24 high-quality, original papers being presented. The 2005 Symposium will be held June 21-22, 2005 at Stony Brook University on Long Island, New York, USA. The event is co-sponsored by Eurographics and the IEEE-CS Visualization and Graphics Technical Committee (VGTC), in cooperation with ACM/SIGGRAPH. The Symposium on Point-Based Graphics brings together leading experts in computer graphics, virtual reality, and geometric modeling to discuss where this important field is going. The symposium will give a snapshot of the state-of-the-art in the field and highlight the challenges that lie ahead. As a corporate supporter you participate in this exciting new field and demonstrate leadership in adopting the latest developments in computer graphics research.
