Description

This course will study algorithms for geometric analysis of 3D shapes. The focus will be on recent methods for matching, registering, recognizing, classifying, clustering, segmenting, and understanding 3D data. Coursework will include reading/presenting research papers and executing a single course project in the students' own area of interest. The course is open to undergraduates and graduate students from all fields.
