General Information

Description: This course will study topics in computer graphics, covering methods in image processing, modeling, rendering, and animation.

Prerequisites: The course is appropriate for students who have taken COS217 and COS226 (or the equivalent).

Coursework/grading: The grade will be based on programming assignments (40%), two midterms (30%), a final project (20%), and class participation (10%).

Textbook: Computer Graphics with OpenGL, Third Edition, Donald Hearn and M. Pauline Baker, Prentice Hall, 2004 ISBN: 0-13-015390-7.

Time/place: Lecture: Tues & Thurs 1:30-2:50, CS 402.  Precept: Mon 7:30-8:20PM, CS 105 (small auditorium).
