Demos are on Thursday, May 9 from 10:30 to 5:00 in the regular classroom, room 103. The room will be available on the afternoon of May 8 and the morning of May 9 so you can check out your equipment. We will provide a Windows 2000 machine with Office 2000, Internet Explorer 5.5, Netscape 4.78, Java 1.3, and a network connection. If you want to bring your own laptop (highly desirable to minimize operational difficulties), you must arrange for roaming IP from CIT, then notify csstaff@cs so they can put you in local databases. Don't leave connectivity to the last minute.
No matter what you plan, it's prudent to bring transparencies that you can talk from in case something breaks.
As to content, the "trade show" metaphor is useful, but we are looking for more than just a glitzy demo. We're really looking for evidence that you accomplished something, that you learned something, and that you can present something clearly. You might think of
