Course Description

An introduction to the concepts of 2D and 3D computer vision. Topics include: cameras and projection models, low-level image processing methods such as filtering and edge detection; mid-level vision topics such as segmentation and clustering; shape reconstruction from stereo. as well as high-level vision tasks such as object recognition, face detection and human motion categorization.

Grading policy:

       Attendance and class participation: 10%

       Homework: 40%

       Wiki project: 10% 

       Final project: 40% 

       Late policy: 50% if one day late and NO credit if more than one day.
