The midterm exam took place on Thursday October 27 from 10:00-10:50am,
the last lecture before the fall break. The exam was open book and
open notes, but no electronic devices (computers, laptops, PDAs, etc.).
Past mid-term exams and answers are available below. Note that the
course varies from one semester to the next, so some of these exam
questions cover material not yet presented in the fall 2005 offering
of COS 217. During lecture on Thursday October 13, Chris DeCoro went
through example exam questions.
Old final exams are available online as well.
The final exam will be at 1:30pm on Wednesday January 25, 2006, in
room 104 in the CS building (i.e., the large auditorium). The exam
will be open book and open notes, but no electronic devices (computers,
laptops, PDAs, etc.)
