Week 4. Sept 30 - Oct 4:  3rd Project: Create large scale image based on Tufte reading.

Week 5. Oct 7 - Oct 11:  4th Project: Design and show large scale image showing depth.  Begin work diaries. Reading:

Week 7. Oct 21 - Oct 25:  5th project: Design and show large scale image on Arnheim reading, Chapters IV, V, VI

    Midterm essays assigned.

Week 9. Nov 4 - Nov 8: 6th Project: Create Short motion project - 1st draft
    Midterm Essays Due

Week 10. Nov 11 - Nov 15:  Sixth Project: Short Motion project, Take 2
    Present Design plans for Project #7. .

Week 11. Nov 18-Nov 22: Reading:  At the Heart of It All: The Concept of Presence, by Matthew Lombard and Theresa Ditton.

Week 13. Dec 2 - Dec 6: Design Project #7 works-in-progress presentations.

Week 14. Dec 9 - Dec 13:   Design Review of Project #7 work.  Final Essay questions assigned.

January 14: Presentation of Projects #7 on large-scale Display Wall, and summary of final project production.

Due January 20: Final take-home essay in lieu of final exam.

Grading: Design Projects 65%, Exams 20% Papers 15%
