Course Summary
This course covers one or more advanced topics in computer science. This course
is offered only when there is an opportunity to present material not included in
the established curriculum. This course is an introduction to the basic theory
cryptography. Topics such as encryption (single-key and double-key), pseudo-
randomness, authentication, as well as advanced topics such as Zero Knowledge
Protocols will be covered. Prerequisites: COS 226 and 341 or permission of
instructor. Recommended: COS 487 and 432.
