We require the GRE general exam of all applicants. The exam should be taken no later than October (paper-based) or December (computer-based). Our school code is 2672. No department code is required.
We strongly recommend that the GRE subject test be taken if possible. The test should be taken in the field of your undergraduate major. If no subject GRE is given in your field, you will not be expected to submit a score.
All international applicants whose native language is not English and who have not received their undergraduate education in a U.S. college or university must submit scores from either TOEFL or IELTS. We do not require or accept TWE scores in place of these. Beginning with Fall 2009 applications we will no longer accept paper-based or computer-based TOEFL. If you submit TOEFL you must submit iBT. We will continue to accept IELTS.
