Coursework:
Students enrolled for independent work this semester must attend
occasional
class meetings where they will be advised about how to do independent
work,
how to prepare an oral presentation, how to write the final report,
etc.
The student is expected to average at least 10-15 hours per week and
to make regular progress reports to his/her faculty advisor. A written
report must be submitted to the faculty advisor and to the
undergraduate
secretary (Donna O'Leary) at the end of the semester.

Started Meeting". 4:30-5:30pm, CS 402.
Discuss independent work schedule and methodology.
- Tuesday, October 4:
"Independent
Work Project Form" due to Tina McCoy
in CS 410 by 5PM.
Submit form with project description and outline.
Please register
online as well.
- Tuesday, October 11 to Wednesday, October 13:
"Beginning-of-the-Semester
Project Proposals".
Make a 5 minute presentation describing your project plan and
progress.

- Monday, November 14:
"Project
Checkpoint"
due by 5PM.
Report progress and give plan of remaining work with 4-5 slides.
